Introducing My Portfolio
A Lifetime of Creations
The American Heart Association
Combining my passion for event planning with strong data management skills, I thrived as a Development Coordinator and Event Logistics/Data Support Intern. I honed my attention to detail, teamwork, and communication while supporting large-scale galas, luncheons, and community heart walks. My data experience proved instrumental, emphasizing the critical role of behind-the-scenes data coordination in ensuring smooth and efficient event execution.

Kappa Delta Beta Pi

Kappa Delta has been instrumental in developing my creative and leadership skills. My various roles, including Vice President of Recruitment & Marketing, Recruitment Assistant, Recruitment Video Chair, and Sisterhood Enrichment Bid Day Chair, have taught me to embrace all opportunities that come my way. Within this community, I have found my greatest support system and my toughest challengers. I have learned the importance of effective communication, meticulous attention to detail, thorough preparation, and having contingency plans. The experience of rising through the ranks has been immensely gratifying, and I am constantly driven to seek out new challenges.

Events

Events are both my passion and hobby. I jump at the opportunity to take a project from its initial ideation phase all the way through to execution. For me, events are particularly special because they offer the chance to witness a vision being brought to life, while seeing people's raw reactions and experiences within the space. One of the most rewarding aspects of event planning is the ability to tailor each occasion to the individual, allowing my creativity to flourish in the process.

University of Florida Homecoming & Gator Growl

Homecoming and Gator Growl solidified my passion for event planning. As part of a team responsible for organizing a sold-out concert at The University of Florida's O'Dome, I gained invaluable experience in leadership and collaboration. Through this process, I learned that success hinges on the effective coordination of every team member, regardless of their role. This includes fostering a supportive and positive work environment, paying close attention to even the smallest details, and enjoying every moment of the journey towards achieving my objectives.

WeWork
WeWork is centered on providing a flexible space for entrepreneurs to flourish and connect with others. Working there taught me the value of unbridled creativity and the freedom to explore beyond the confines of a traditional 9-to-5 job. I relished in the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of interests. My role at WeWork enabled me to gain experience in a wide range of areas, including sales, tours, event planning, promotions, and more.

Innovation Minor

The Innovation Minor is exclusive to Innovation Academy students of The University of Florida. This program prepares students for the 21st century economy through classes focused on entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership, and ethics, while strengthening the development of an innovative mindset. At a large scale institution with over 60,000 students, the Innovation Academy creates a close knit community with about 1,000 students. Within this program I have had the opportunity to employ out-of-the-box thinking through 3D modeling, arduino building and coding, prototyping, and showcases. I worked with the Palm Beach School of Autism, The City of Gainesville Planning and zoning division, and The Loss Prevention Research Council to develop innovative solutions for various challenges.

Campaigns Book
During my Spring 2023 semester at The University of Florida, collaborated with Holistic Mental Health Counseling. As a group we were tasked with developing an advertising campaign aimed at increasing brand recognition, establishing a cohesive brand identity, and utilizing a budget of $6,000 to drive business growth. As part of a diverse team, I was challenged to think creatively and develop an innovative strategy to promote a small boutique counseling agency while adhering to budgetary constraints for an entire year. This experience provided me with invaluable real-world insights and helped me to develop skills that will serve me well throughout my career.

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Innovation
As my first internship experience, and amid the challenges posed by the pandemic, I gained valuable insights into teamwork and adaptability. In my role as a marketing intern, I quickly realized the importance of effective time management and communication. One of my primary responsibilities was to promote upcoming events by reaching out to local businesses and organizations. This experience taught me how to effectively sell our business and events, as winning over potential partners and sponsors hinged on it.
